BEARE STANDS TALLEST – ONCE AGAIN!

Last night in Kalgoorlie, on a wet first day of March, South Australian speedway ace Anthony Beare outshone 82 competitors to win the 2015 Australian Street Stock Sedan crown – his second title in the division. The first came at Arunga Park, Alice Springs, in the 2006 / 2007 season.

Anthony was runner-up to Victorian Robbie Faux for the 2012 / 2013 championship at Mount Gambier, in his home State, and placed third in Mildura, Victoria, at the 2005 / 2006 title. But his achievements don’t stop there.

He won a National championship in Production Sedans as well – in the 2007 / 2008 season on his Mount Gambier home track.

Anthony also boasts 18 Street Stock Sedan crowns (and eight minor placings in mixed divisions) at State level. He has been #1 in South Australia seven times, four in Victoria, three in Western Australia, two in Northern Territory and one in Queensland and Tasmania. The only State missing is New South Wales, which does not run Street Stock Sedans.

Anthony is the President of the South-East Racing Car Club and Borderline Speedway in South Australia.
