Ongerup Football Association’s top two teams will meet this Saturday, July 4, at Jerramungup to sort out which side will hold the outright lead on the ladder. Both have a 7/1 record. Challenger Gnowangerup Bulldogs lead the ladder by 35% and beat the Eagles on its home turf by 32 points in the first series. However, Jerramungup, winners of six of the past seven premierships, including last season, keep defying the odds by overcoming strong opposition to record close wins in season 2015. There is no doubt its goalscoring potential is not as prominent as in recent seasons but the Eagles keep beating very competitive opponents. Based on performance in the first eight games this season, Gnowangerup will start favourites this time and it promises to be worth the watch! ‘My Retro Media’ will start its call at 2pm.
